These incredible pictures show Scotland 's largest pumpkin patch - covering eight acres. Around 35,000 pumpkins of 21 different varieties are grown at the Balgone Estate, near North Berwick, East Lothian.
It was started three years ago by schoolfriends Alex Humphreys, 23, and David Grant-Suttie, 24, whose family own the farm. Squashes are also grown at the pick-your-own site, which was set up three years ago and which has grown rapidly.
Visitors have come from as far away as Manchester and Newcastle, and around 2,500 people visited on one day alone. Across the month of October, some 25,000 visitors are anticipated.
Alex said: "We are keen on being the largest supplier of pumpkins in Scotland. "This is the third year running. Our main goal is to get people out in the countryside.
"We are quite proud of how much it has grown. We are best friends from school and I stayed with David's family during lockdown.
"The most we have had is 2,500 a day. We are expecting 23,000 over the month of October."
The patch is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October and is nearly sold out.
Access is sold per car, with around 700 cars turning up per day. Alex added: "We encourage people to cook the squashes. "There's quite a lot on offer."
