'Incredible' new aviation centre will bring jobs and opportunities to Nottinghamshire town

A plan for an 'incredible' new aviation and space centre in Nottinghamshire has been approved.

The Internal Air and Space Training Institute (IASTI) facility, supported by the RAF, will replace the demolished Newark Livestock Market in Great North Road after the project was given planning approval on February 15.

The new centre will be occupied by 350 students and create 38 staff jobs, with a plane parked in the workshop and hanger space where students will work.
