The incredible moment a group of Edinburgh locals lifted a car out of the way that was blocking traffic on a busy street has been captured on video.
A group of around eight men edged a silver car out of the way after it appeared to be abandoned on Leith Walk on Saturday evening.
An eye witness told Edinburgh Live about the "surreal" scenes that began with multiple cars and buses stuck behind a motionless car half way down Leith Walk outside the Mousetrap pub.

After being stationary on one of the many buses stuck behind the car, they recorded footage of drivers using the pavement at the side of the tram tracks to drive around the car and continue forwards.
A separate video shows multiple cars driving along the pavement, with buses unable to fit past.
The witness said buses were "blasting their horns" in an attempt to alert the driver of the rogue vehicle, but were unsuccessful. After dozens of locals departed their bus to see what was going on, many decided to help and were seen physically rocking the vehicle back and forth so it was out of the way.
Video footage captures passers-by clapping and cheering after the car was moved to the side, as the long stretch of traffic along the busy street was eventually able to continue on their way.
A picture shows the silver car abandoned and blocking both lanes of traffic, with the incident occurring around 6pm on Saturday evening, December 17.
