A stunning video has caught a pod of dolphins in action as they swam through the Firth of Forth.
The incredible footage shows the group moving through the water under the Forth Road Bridge heading towards the Rail Bridge this week.
Captured on Monday (March 7) by local skippers Julie and Dean on separate outings on the Wave Train and St Colme, the boats were in the right place at the right time to watch the animals.
Taken at around 6.20pm, the beautiful weather across Edinburgh and the Lothians had provided clear stunning skies as the dolphins played in the water.

Seen moving together as a pod, individuals would leap and dive back into the water as they played together through the waves.
Although not completely uncommon, the sight of dolphins in the Firth of Forth is an exciting one, with most needing a bit of luck to be in with the chance of coming across them.
A similar sighting was reported earlier this year by a local rowing club who managed to spot a pod up close.

Rowing around Scotland for over ten years, she explained that they had only ever seen a pod of dolphins a "handful of times."
