The Northern Territory today has fewer patients with COVID-19 in hospital, but more are in need of oxygen and there has been an increase in the number of people in intensive care.
There are now 114 people in hospital, nine needing oxygen and five in intensive care.
That's an increase from the three people in the ICU on Sunday, a day where 121 patients with COVID-19 were in Northern Territory hospitals.
The Territory today reported an additional 812 new cases, including 52 who have been added to Sunday's total.
Of the 760 in Monday's announced daily caseload, 599 came from rapid antigen tests.
Territory-wide, there are now about 5,550 active cases of COVID-19.

There were 528 cases recorded in the Top End, 86 in Central Australia, 45 in East Arnhem, 16 in the Big Rivers region and 13 in the Barkly.
At 2pm Sunday, seven-day "lock-ins" came into effect in the remote communities of Ampilatwatja, Palumpa, Milingimbi, Milikapiti, Elcho Island, including Galiwin'ku, and the Wessell Islands.
Today, 27 new cases have been reported in Galiwin'ku, three in Milingimbi and one in Palumpa.
There's also a Territory-wide, seven-day outdoor mask mandate in place, which was introduced on Saturday.
People in the Northern Territory are also required to wear masks indoors, a health measure introduced on New Year's Eve.
