Some Nottingham Forest fans think they have spotted a hint about one player who could start the Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
The Reds are back in action at the City Ground against Aston Villa on Monday night as they look to end a poor run of results. Steve Cooper’s men know that a win would take them up into 18th place in the Premier League table.
Forest’s last outing saw them fall to a 4-0 defeat against Leicester City. The Reds did have a chance to go ahead in the game though, with Taiwo Awoniyi’s effort coming back off the post in the first half.

The summer signing has featured in all eight of Forest’s Premier League matches this season, scoring two goals. Another striker who is pushing the Nigerian for a start is Sam Surridge.
The striker scored 10 goals last season as he helped Cooper’s team to earn promotion from the Championship, but has started just one Premier League game this season. Ahead of the game against Villa, the 24-year-old shared pictures of him preparing for the match on social media, along with a bicep and tree emojis.
That post prompted a response from Forest fans, with some thinking that it could be a hint to a possible starting place, with others calling for the striker to start. Here’s what just some had to say.
