Yang Hyun-jun has been spotted flying into the UK as he finalises a transfer move to Celtic.
The Gangwon winger is set to complete a summer switch to the Scottish Premiership in the coming days.
And the 21-year-old stopped to chat with assembled reporters in South Korea ahead of a flight to the United Kingdom this afternoon.
In the short discussion - ahead of his £2million transfer to Celtic - Yang revealed his discussions with pal and soon-to-be team-mate Oh Hyeon-gyu.
As reported in the Scottish Sun, Yang said: “I was in contact with Oh.
"After the transfer rumours started circulating, I contacted him often.
“The Scottish League is very rough, so he advised me to be careful of injuries and never to be discouraged.
“He told me to come quickly and take good care of him.
“Since he is there, I don’t think I have to worry about adapting.
"I will do that very quickly.”
And Yang went on to reveal his ambition to play in the Premier League in the future, but only once he conquers Scottish football.
He added: “My goal is to go to the EPL, but I think I can do that only if I become the best player in the Scottish Premiership.”
Meanwhile, Donny van de Beek has addressed transfer speculation linking him with a move to Celtic from Manchester United.
He said: "I've been linked with so many clubs, you know how it is. Most of the time things are not true. Let's see about my future.
"I don't know, I'm not focussing on that. Everything is open. I'm really proud to wear this shirt and I realise that every day. I will push and then let's see what happens.
"A move away from the club could be a possibility. Let's see. I've just come back from an injury and I think I have other things to focus on."
