What To Expect
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is a mix of JRPG-style gameplay with some football action. Not only do you go through the story filled with characters from the original anime, but you also compete in matches. It’s important to mention that the football gameplay is quite different. It is a very innovative and tactical approach to football.
You can either play online and compete against other players, or tune into the story mode where you play as Destin Bellows as he tries to build his own football club.
The game is a solid entry point for people who haven’t watched the original anime. But it’s also a nostalgic trip for fans who enjoyed the original. The game does justice to the anime. The cutscenes are flawless, and similar to the original anime, the dub is pretty awful.
If 30 minutes of gameplay isn’t enough for you to decide whether to buy the game or not. There is also a first four hours of gameplay video on YouTube that you can check out:
Make your decision fast, as the game is set to release soon.
