In this house, we do not tolerate Lizzo slander

Humanitarian crises are unfolding in Afghanistan and Haiti. Climate change is getting dire. Low vaccination rates and the Delta variant could be plunging us back into the dark days of lockdown. And yet some people have nothing better to do than bully Lizzo, an entertainer who is a beacon of positivity and light.

Last week, she and Cardi B dropped "Rumors," an anti-hater anthem and the first new Lizzo we've gotten since 2019's Cuz I Love You. "They don't know I do it for the culture / God damn / They say I should watch the shit I post / Oh god damn / Say I'm turning big girls into hoes / Oh god damn / They say I get groupies at my shows / Oh god damn," Lizzo croons. Then she trolls her critics: "All the rumors are true."
