Newcastle United's search for a new centre-back ended on deadline day with the arrival of Dan Burn.
The left-footer arriving from Brighton for a reported £13m - returning to the club from where he was released at the age of 11.
It's been quite the journey for Burn who has worked his way up the league tier before impressing at Brighton.
While United's top targets in defence this January were Sven Botman and Diego Carlos, there is a feeling that they have signed a very solid and capable player in Burn.
Speaking to The Everything is Black and White Podcast , Bright writer for Sussex Live Richie Mills talks us through just what Newcastle have got with Burn.
"They've got someone who will give absolutely everything.
"There are some players, you see their heads drop and decision making might go as a result to it but Dan Burn is just the consummate professional.
"He loves training and putting on the search - the fact he's come from non-league, he's really had to fight and graft for it.
"Now he's just loving every single moment of it.
"He's 6ft 7, good strong presence, can head the ball and has got a good left-foot - everyone who has spoken about him hasn't got a bad word to say to him, so I'm sure he'll do very well at Newcastle."
Richie and Andrew discuss Burn's journey up the leagues, his attributes as well as the belief that he's in the 'form of his life.'
