NICOLA Sturgeon made an appearance at the Govanhill International Festival on Saturday.
The annual festival, organised by the Govanhill Baths Community Trust, runs from August 2-14 with more than 50 events taking place.
The free-to-all event features talks, music workshops, theatre, film and exhibitions, as well as guided walks and heritage events.
The Govanhill Carnival Parade is back in the city too, featuring jugglers, dancers, pipers and more as it made its way from Govanhill Park to Queen's Park earlier on Saturday.
The First Minister was seen giving a speech and was pictured alongside a Shetland pony.
