In January 2024, Rhys Wynne-Jones, who had been homeless for around a decade, walked into St. Mary’s Church in Penzance, England, on a freezing night seeking shelter. He asked volunteers if he could play the church piano, and his performance of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” was recorded and later posted on Facebook.

The video quickly went viral, bringing unexpected attention to Wynne-Jones and opening up opportunities that eventually helped transform his life.
