Improved strategy for health and social care services in North Lanarkshire endorsed

North Lanarkshire Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board

An improved strategy for working with the people of North Lanarkshire around the planning and development of health and social care services has been endorsed by the North Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board.

This upgraded initiative aims to build on Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire’s (HSCNL) past successes, with its purpose to "ensure a robust engagement and participation strategy is in place to boost involvement and meaningful engagement around health and social care services".

The Integration Joint Board heard that HSCNL has carried out a review of its engagement and participation structure, which resulted in new ways being identified to promote community involvement in health and social care decisions.
