It's one thing pitch invading, but what about infiltrating the field as a player, without people noticing? It's an incredible feat that Gaillard Remi pulled off during a Top14 game. He reposted it this week, and it has gone viral.
After being posted on Sunday, Remi's renowned prank video has raked in 12.6 million views and almost half a million likes. This is a remarkable achievement considering his hugely successful original video on YouTube garnered 14 million since being posted in 2008. In total, this clip has racked up over 25 million views.
On April 6th 2007, Remi managed to get himself onto the pitch as a player in a game between Montpellier and Bourgoin-Jallieu in the Top14. He is the last player to run onto the field, and he is dressed head to toe in Montpellier kit. Remi is holding a ball under his arm, and even shakes the referee's hand!

It's after this moment that an official off the pitch notices what's going on, and Remi gets on his bike. As he evades the security, he heads for the posts, where he acrobatically dives underneath before holding the ball up to the crowd with a cheeky smile. It really is a brilliant effort from the Frenchman, that took some serious nerve.
In the original video, Remi jumps over the advertising boards to escape, before being blocked off and ushered back down to the field where seven security guards escort him away!
The TikTok has become a viral hit this week, and has blown other rugby videos out the water, despite it being over 14 years old. Viewers remember Remi's content well it seems, as they took to the comments to remind people of his internet status.
"For those confused: he is not a player. He is an old YouTube prankster" said one.
"We must protect the OG at all costs" said another.
Remi still makes YouTube content today, and is in the top 10 most popular pranksters, with over 7 million subscribers. His total views on YouTube tally up to almost two billion.
