A handcuffed immigration detainee was injected with an antipsychotic drug without his consent as he was being forcibly deported by Australian Border Force officers.

The Commonwealth Ombudsman's report savaged the Department of Home Affairs and Border Force for the chaotic deportation of the detainee identified as Mx X.
