David Templeton has revealed how a shock transfer deadline day call from Celtic almost derailed his move to Rangers.

The former Hearts winger was on the brink of completing his switch to Ibrox in August 2012 when then-Hoops boss Neil Lennon made a dramatic late move to tempt him across the city.
