An Illinois mother accused of killing her 2-year-old son had reportedly been discussing the high-profile Lindsay Clancy murder trial with friends just hours before the toddler was found dead, according to prosecutors and court documents.
Corie Walsh, 40, of Frankfort, Illinois, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her son, Barrett Walsh. Prosecutors allege Walsh had become 'very invested' in the Massachusetts case involving Clancy, whose own murder trial ended in a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a verdict.
