Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier was happy with a 'good point' after his clean sheet helped his side scrape a point against Aston Villa after going down to 10 men just after halftime.
Whites winger Luis Sinisterra was shown a second yellow card for blocking a free kick attempt with his foot after fouling Jacob Ramsey after 48 minutes, leaving Leeds to defend desperately for the rest of the game.
Speaking to LUTV after the match, Meslier was happy with his own performance and commended his teammates in managing to take a point from a bad situation.

"I think it's a good point - when you play the game for 45 minutes with one man less, it's hard all the time. I think after the first half, we came back out with more intention to put some more intensity but being one man down, it became difficult.
"I think it was a good clean sheet, and I'm happy because I helped the team today - it's also good for me to make some good saves."
The Frenchman then spoke about the officiating from referee Stuart Attwell and how he felt Aston Villa's game plan affected his side's own plans.
"I do feel sorry for the fans, of course there were a lot of fouls but it was like you said, a very stop-start game and I think the problem was that we want to put down a lot of intensity but then Aston Villa wanted to cut the rhythm of the game so it's hard."
