IKEA has issued an urgent recall for over 8,300 mirrors sold in their stores over safety fears.
The homeware giant is recalling a batch of LETTAN mirrors due to the use of incorrect material in the manufacturing of some wall fittings. The fittings, that attach the product to the wall, can break and result in head injury, cuts, and lacerations.
The affected mirror has date stamps, located at the back of the mirror, before and including 2105. The affected product was available for purchase from February 2021 and there are currently 8,362 of the mirrors in the Republic of Ireland.
