Ikea to open its first West End store on Oxford Street on May 1

Ikea’s first West End store will open at one of central London’s busiest locations on Oxford Circus on Thursday 1 May, the Swedish retailer confirmed today.

The launch of the store at 214 Oxford Street follows a lengthy overhaul delayed by water leaking into the basement of the Grade II listed former Topshop flagship.
