With a four-day bank holiday approaching now is the time when many begin to think of DIY.
Along with lighter evenings and warmer weather now is the chance to get back out into the garden and de-weed those flower beds, mow the lawn or give your kitchen that extra lick of paint.
Whatever the project may be, chances are it will require a trip to your local DIY store - be it Wickes, Screwfix or B&Q. And if you fancy a weekend of making flatpack furniture then a trip to IKEA may be in order.

However, with it being easter, along with two bank holidays in four days, opening hours are not as normal. Here is everything you need to know if you are planning a trip to one of these stores over the next few days:
IKEA
Times for IKEA Manchester - in Ashton-under-Lyne - and IKEA Warrington (in brackets). All stores have slightly different opening hours which you can find here.
Good Friday, April 7 - 10am to 8pm (10am to 10pm at IKEA Warrington).
Saturday, April 8 - 10am to 9pm (9am to 10pm at IKEA Warrington).
Easter Sunday, April 9 - Closed
Easter Monday, April 10 -10am to 8pm (10am to 10pm at IKEA Warrington).
Screwfix
These are the opening times for Screwfix stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Times in Scotland slightly differ. For the opening times at your nearest store check here.
Good Friday, April 7 - 7am to 8pm
Saturday, April 8 - 7am to 6pm
Easter Sunday, April 9 - Closed
Easter Monday, April 10 - 7am to 8pm
Wickes
All Wickes stores will be closed on Easter Sunday. Store opening hours vary across the country, you can check individual stores here. Below are the times for Wickes in Oldham, Clifton, Bury and Stockport.
Good Friday, April 7 - 7am to 8pm
Saturday, April 8 - Clifton and Stockport - 7am to 7pm, Oldham and Bury 8am to 7pm.
Easter Sunday, April 9 - All stores closed
Easter Monday, April 10 - 7am to 8pm
B&Q
B&Qs will be open for normal hours on Good Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, April 9 (Easter Sunday), stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will not open. However, B&Q shops in Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man will open as normal. Hours will again be normal on Easter Monday.
