Flat pack giant IKEA has announced when it's cheap real Christmas tree deal will be returning. This year, shoppers who buy a real fir tree for £25 will receive a £10 gift voucher to redeem in stores - meaning the tree is only costing customers £15 if taking the saving into account.
But while the deal sounds good, it's bound to infuriate a lot of people struggling with rising costs.
In previous years, Ikea used to offer a £20 voucher when you purchased a Christmas tree - meaning you could get a £29 tree by only spending £9. This year you'll need to spend £25 - and you'll only get a £10 voucher.

As a result shoppers will be spending more and getting less back this year. This year's scheme is running from November 25 and December 24, 2022.
Once bought you will receive a voucher, which can be redeemed in store between January 9 and February 12, 2023. Posting on its website, IKEA said : "Our live Christmas trees are on their way, and will be available for purchase from November 25. Check back often for more information.

Remember, the offer for the voucher is only valid at participating Ikea stores. All its Christmas trees are available from November 25 to December 24, 2022 in participating stores while stocks last.
Ikea trees often come in a range of sizes, with a maximum height of 170cm, so you can choose one to fit your home.
On Twitter, shopper @HejMattJ said: "I noticed the voucher you get when you buy a Christmas tree from IKEA this year has reduced from £20 to £10. Makes sense now."
Anna Liakh, Commercial Activities Leader, IKEA UK and Ireland, said: “Over the festive season, a beautifully decorated tree becomes the focal point of any space. We’re thrilled to be bringing back our popular Christmas tree offer for another year, providing affordable, high-quality trees for customers to enjoy. With the added bonus of a £10 voucher to spend in the new year across our range of homewares in-store, we hope to spread the festive cheer for a few more months to come.”
IKEA encourages customers to recycle their used tree once the festivities come to an end; whether that’s recycling trees at home if the right facilities for composting allow, or via local collection or or drop off services to ensure a greener festive period.
The Christmas tree offer will run to December 24, 2022 in participating stores while stocks last.
