The Israel Defense Forces are currently conducting a review into the circumstances surrounding the tragic killing of a 13-year-old boy in a town located in the occupied West Bank. According to a statement provided to CNN by the IDF, the incident took place during a joint operation involving IDF and Israel Border Police forces in the town of Qabatiya.
During the operation, a group of terrorists reportedly initiated gunfire towards the security forces present in the area. In response, the forces engaged with live fire, resulting in confirmed hits on the terrorists. Following the counterterrorism activity, a report was received indicating the death of a Palestinian minor.
