The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported an incident in the occupied West Bank early Thursday where an IDF officer was stabbed by a terrorist. The attack took place in the Samaria area at the Yitzhar junction.
According to the IDF statement, the terrorist approached the IDF NCO while he was in his vehicle, carried out the stabbing, and then fled the scene. The IDF immediately launched a search operation to locate the perpetrator and secure the area. Roads in the vicinity were blocked as part of the search efforts.
