The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported significant progress in their ground operations in southern Lebanon since October 1. According to the IDF, they have successfully targeted over 3,200 Hezbollah sites, which include weapons storage facilities, rocket launchers, anti-tank posts, terrorist infrastructure, and command-and-control centers. The IDF's efforts have intensified in the last 24 hours, with approximately 300 targets hit during this period.
In addition to the infrastructure damage, the IDF has also claimed to have eliminated numerous Hezbollah members. Since the beginning of the ground operations, the IDF stated that they have killed dozens of Hezbollah operatives, including seven brigade commanders, 21 battalion commanders, and 24 company commanders.
These operations are part of Israel's ongoing efforts to combat Hezbollah's presence in the region and prevent further attacks on Israeli territory. The IDF's actions aim to degrade Hezbollah's capabilities and disrupt their operations, ultimately enhancing Israel's security.
