The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been engaged in a two-front war with Iranian-backed terror groups, resulting in significant developments in Gaza and Beirut.
Early Saturday, the IDF confirmed the killing of Muhammad Mansour, a key Hamas operative known for his technological expertise within Hamas' military intelligence system. Additionally, several Hamas terrorists responsible for attacks against IDF soldiers were also eliminated by the IDF.
The IDF's operations in Gaza have focused on targeting terror infrastructure sites in the central and southern regions. Through precise and intelligence-based activities, IDF troops have successfully dismantled terror infrastructure, neutralized armed terrorists, and seized weaponry in southern Gaza.
Continuing their efforts in central Gaza, IDF troops have eliminated more terrorists and conducted airstrikes on Hamas terror infrastructure with the assistance of the Israeli Air Force (IAF).
Furthermore, the IAF carried out strikes on approximately 20 terror targets across the Gaza Strip, including military structures, terrorist cells, and other infrastructure sites.
Meanwhile, in Beirut, the IDF successfully targeted and killed a senior Hezbollah commander, Ibrahim Aqil, who was a prominent member of Hezbollah's elite Radwan forces. Aqil and other key operatives were found hiding underground in a residential building in southern Beirut, using Lebanese civilians as human shields.
The IDF spokesperson revealed that Aqil and his associates were planning Hezbollah's 'Conquer the Galilee' attack, which aimed to infiltrate Israeli communities and target innocent civilians.
These recent operations underscore the IDF's commitment to eliminating terrorist threats and safeguarding Israeli citizens from external threats.
