Ideal Heating has become the principal sponsor of West Bromwich Albion FC's women's team. The deal extends the firm's existing relationship with the Black Country club as the company already sponsors the men's first team.
Ideal Heating's logo will appear on the women's first team shirt while branding will also be featured around the outside of the pitch and used in interview backdrops.
The Hull-based boiler manufacturer became West Bromwich Albion's sponsor in 2018 and earlier this year extended the deal, taking it to the end of the 2023/24 season and it hopes this new deal will help attract more women into engineering.
Chief executive Shaun Edwards said: "It's incredibly important to us that we've extended our role as principal sponsor across both WBA's men's and women's teams.
"As a business, it's a priority for us to open up more opportunities for women to enter our industry and enjoy successful careers in engineering. We take our role in supporting women's sport equally seriously and it is rewarding being able to bolster the country's wealth of female athletes, as well as encouraging a new generation of fans to tune in or take part.
"We've loved getting to know the local supporters over the years and will continue to focus on our charity and community work throughout this next year.
"We're excited to represent parity of sponsorship between both West Brom's men's and women's teams and look forward to continuing to support their strides to bigger successes soon."
Mark Miles, managing director of West Bromwich Albion, added: "I'd certainly like to place on record how appreciative we are to have such a fantastic sponsor in Ideal Heating. Our extended partnership has meant a lot to the club and we're incredibly pleased to see that support now spread across both teams.
"The uniform branding will see both the men's and women's kit brought under one design, highlighting the unified values of the club, and it acts as a signal to the fans as we continue to showcase the best of women's football.
"This new sponsorship will bring additional funding which will play a significant role in the continued success and development of the women's team and is a testament to the wonderful effort of all the staff, players and volunteers that work tirelessly to progress the WBA women's side."
