Property taxes can be one of the biggest ongoing expenses for retirees living on fixed incomes. Fortunately, Idaho offers a Property Tax Reduction Program, often called the “Circuit Breaker” program, that can reduce qualifying homeowners’ property taxes by as much as $1,500 on their primary residence and up to one acre of land.
