The pub chain behind an iconic bar in Shawlands is looking for someone to come in and take over for them.
Greene King is seeking the ideal candidate to run the Corona Bar, on Pollokshaws Road, describing it as a 'great opportunity in a prime location'.
Found across from Langside Halls, just up from the Shed nightclub, the well-established bar is one of the best-known in the southside.

Posting on the ad, the team at Greene King said: "The Corona Bar is a business which offers a great opportunity to build upon the 100% wet led offer and re-establish a food offer. The new operator will need to raise standards, utilise digital marketing and modernise the offer to help it stand out from local competition."
They revealed that the Corona attracts a range of customers throughout the day from the "older daytime crowd to younger people in the evening".
Adding its position close to the Shed Nightclub makes it an attractive proposition for younger drinkers at the weekend, they stated that it also gets heavier footfall on both match and gig days at Hampden due to its close proximity to the national stadium.
The pub is also known for live music and open mic nights.
Anyone interested can apply from the Greene King website.
