Manchester United fans have seen two of their former heroes reunite with Wayne Rooney meeting up with Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez on the USA.
Rooney, who is the club's record goalscorer and sixth-highest appearance maker, is currently the manager of MLS DC United in Washington, where he spent some of the latter stages of his career. He isn't the only former United star in management in the USA, with Phil Neville in charge of the David-Beckham owned franchise Inter Miami.
Hernandez and Rooney spent five years together at Old Trafford from 2010-2015. Chicharito netted 59 times for the United, including the final goal of Sir Alex Ferguson ’s reign, prior to his 2015 exit to Bayer Leverkusen.

Fans reacted well to his post, with one responding: "This is nice", while another wrote: "Iconic duo. We'll never forget!" Elsewhere, "Pair of legends" was written by a third fan, with another user adding photos of the pair at United, saying: "Sweet memories."
Hernandez remain a cult hero among United fans. He was sold to Bayer Leverkusen for £7.3million in 2015 before going on to play for West Ham United, Sevilla and LA Galaxy, while scoring 52 goals in 109 caps for Mexico.
