Iceland staff stayed overnight in their former workplace as the sit-in at the Talbot Street branch continues.
Workers have now formed a roster to ensure the demonstration keeps going until resolution is found. Staff are demanding clarity about their pay a week after it was announced three of the retailer's Dublin stores would close permanently.
People Before Profit's Bernard Mulvany is calling on staff from other Iceland branches to get involved with the demonstration. The Coolock and Northside branches also shut abruptly last Wednesday, with staff claiming they received no prior notice of the closures.
