Iceland shoppers sent salivating over brand new 'hash brown of dreams'

What could possibly be better than a simple hash brown for breakfast? An epic-sized quarter pounder style hash brown, that is exactly what.

If there is one undeniable fact that nearly all of us can agree on, it's that the humble hash brown is clearly one of the most versatile things that we can eat.

And now Iceland has completely cooked up another brand new way for you to enjoy the breakfast favourite with the new Hash Brown Qaurter Pounder that, quite frankly, looks insane.

Made with shredded potato and onion, the mammoth sized hash browns are the perfect way for you to enjoy your breakfast burger in the morning - and it looks like shoppers couldn't agree more.

The frozen foods supermarket sent shoppers absolutely wild on social media recently, with some saying that they expected the hype to be as high as it was for the viral Prime energy drink.

A post sharing the epic food item to the Newfoods uk Facebook page read: "New Hash Brown Quarter Pounders spotted online at Iceland!! These look interesting to say the least! Would you try! See them online at Iceland (AD)."

The post quickly went viral among hungry shoppers,as over 8,000 of them flocked to the comments section to tag their friends and family in what they call the "hash brown of dreams."

"OMG! There is a god! These will definitely be on my death certificate", raved one shopper.

"That’s me running to Iceland first thing tomorrow", praised a second.

"Hash browns of dreams", agreed a third.

"We're getting INVOLVED in this", said a third tagging their friend.

"People may end up fighting over these... like those Prime drinks", joked a fifth.

The new Hash Brown Qaurter Pounders have been such a hit that they have already completely sold out online, though you may still be able to get them in your local store.
