Iceland shoppers say £1 sauce tastes 'nicer than KFC' version

Iceland is popular among shoppers for their eclectic range of frozen and fresh products and the latest item fans are raving about costs just £1 and rivals a famous fast food chain.

While Iceland also sells products from a range of well-known labels, the latest find comes from the retailers own grocery range and "tastes nicer than KFC". Iceland's Southern Fried Chicken Gravy costs £1 and has already received a number of five star reviews on the website.

Many of them compared it to the iconic gravy sold in KFC, which is considered to be one of the most famous condiments in the fast food industry. Iceland's gravy comes in 300g packets, said to serve three people, Wales Online reports.

One positive reviewer said: "I love this gravy it's just like the KFC one, it's lovely I absolutely love it," A second wrote: "This was a tasty side. For a quick and easy fakeaway we had this with special fried rice, fries, and salt and pepper chicken strips all from Iceland."

A third happy shopper penned: "Omg this gravy is the best, nicer than KFC". While a fourth said: "This gravy is lovely, we really liked it", while another added: "Tastes nice, as others have said similar to a 'popular takeaway'!"
