Iceland has unveiled a range of discounted bundles and offers to help households stretch their cash further amid the ongoing cost of living crisis. They range from essential food items and cleaning supplies to kid-friendly offers to keep the youngest of the families entertained over the summer holidays.
The retailer's new mega food bundle, which will cost shoppers £60 contains a variety of food products it says and should keep the average family of four fully stocked up for at least a week. Iceland says the contents should cover breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and drinks in between.
The bundle - saving £11.49 - contains 40 products ranging from essentials such as milk, bread and eggs, to items to make a healthy meal. Contents include Iceland Lean Beef Steak Mince (360g), Don Mario Chopped Tomatoes (400g), Iceland Class A Fresh Chicken Breast Fillets (450g), Branston Baked Beans (4pk) and Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce Cheese & Broccoli (99g).
It also has snacks and drinks including Iceland Strawberries (400g) and Iceland Baby Plum Tomatoes (300g), crisps like Walkers Ready Salted (6pk) and drinks like R.White’s Lemonade (3l).
Iceland’s Managing Director, Richard Walker, said: “At Iceland, we’re continuing to work on further savings, offers and discounts across our product ranges where it will benefit our customers the most. Some families will be looking to use the Government support scheme to help their everyday cost expenditure, so we wanted to provide offers that will help their money go as far as possible that will see cupboards fully stocked up for the weeks to come."
Other new offers include deals on laundry and cleaning products, with some at half price or less and a 3 for £5 deal on aerosols, air fresheners, and fabric fresheners. The Food Warehouse also has offers on its picnic products and 3 for £5 on picnic foods.
