Frozen supermarket specialist Iceland has issued a five-day deadline to shoppers ahead of December 25. The supermarket is urging customers who are yet to book their Christmas delivery slot, to do so as soon as possible for guaranteed arrival before the big day.
Since first inviting existing customers to pre-book their Christmas Delivery slots back in October , many slots have already been taken. Now, the supermarket is giving one last chance to shoppers who might have forgotten to book their supermarket delivery slot.
The retailer has stated the last standard delivery date for guaranteed arrival before December 25 will be this Sunday, December 18 - in just five days.

The supermarket is also offering free delivery for those who spend over £40 – perfect for anyone stocking up on the full Christmas range.
Andrew Staniland, Trading Director at Iceland, dispelled fears of food shortages, and issued this message to shoppers.
He said: “We can all be guilty of leaving parts of Christmas to the last minute. The demand for frozen festive food this year has exceeded expectations, however we have plenty to go round and are not concerned about any supply issues.
“We do suggest that customers get their delivery slot booked in before Sunday, as we anticipate the stores to be busier than ever this year as more people switch to frozen.”
Iceland is also the only supermarket which has promised to freeze the price of its own-brand turkeys this year, while ongoing issues with supply chains and the outbreak of avian influenza has led to price increases and limited fresh turkeys available to buy on the run up to Christmas.
Iceland says many of their customers have already secured their turkey by applying for the popular Turkey Insurance scheme , where the supermarket promised customers who applied would be guaranteed the turkey with their delivery.
With just five days left to secure your spread, customers can visit the Iceland website to book a slot to ensure a festive feast delivered in time for Christmas.
