Ice warning for London as temperatures to plunge after Storm Chandra

A yellow warning for ice has been issued for large areas of the UK including London as temperatures plunge overnight after Storm Chandra brought heavy rain and flooding.

With temperatures set to drop below freezing into Wednesday, the Met Office has urged people to avoid “injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces”.
