Families can take a spin on a real ice rink in the run up to Christmas while listening to festive music, just 45 minutes from Liverpool.
With the Liverpool Ice Festival not taking place this year, people might be looking for where else they can strap on some blades and go for a glide on the ice. Running until January 2, ‘Skate at Tinseltown’ is being run in partnership with Hits Radio, with people able to book a 45 minute ice skating session to celebrate the winter season.
To add to the magic, the ice rink is beneath a sky full of twinkling lights, with Christmas music transporting skaters to a whimsical, festive haven. If you don’t fancy skating, you can sit back and admire the towering Christmas tree and wintry scene, with a cosy hot chocolate or mulled wine.
