When federal authorities finally handed over the evidence Minnesota prosecutors had spent months fighting to obtain, the question was no longer whether investigators had enough material to examine the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
Now, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty says her office believes it has enough evidence to make the crucial decision on whether criminal charges should be brought against the immigration officers involved.
