NEW DELHI: Pakistan's defeat against South Africa on Friday has pushed them closer to the exit door of the 2023 ICC World Cup, and the team's fourth consecutive loss has led to a lot of criticism, including accusations of faking an injury.
All-rounder Shadab Khan banged his head on the ground while trying to run out opener Quinton de Kock in the first over of South Africa's run-chase of 271. After getting some on-field medical attention, he walked off the park as a precaution for a concussion injury and was later replaced by Usama Mir.
