ICC World Cup: How Mohammed Siraj bounced back to trigger Pakistan's collapse

AHMEDABAD: Do not get fooled by Mohammed Siraj’s naïve smile and his innocent style of expressing himself in Hyderabadi hindi. Behind that wide grin is a shrewd mind.

“Itna bada format hain. Swing milne ke liye aur wicket ke liye upar daal sakte hain aur ek do chauke kha sakte hain,” said Siraj while addressing the media after India’s seven-wicket win over Pakistan in the third match of the World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

He was answering a query on why in search of wickets, he pitched the ball up and looked for swing and went for runs. He then explained how he bounced back after his first two overs went for 20 runs.
