NEW DELHI: Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Praveen Jayawickrama, 25, faces three charges for violating the ICC's anti-corruption code, including failing to report match-fixing approaches and obstructing an investigation by deleting relevant messages. These charges relate to incidents in international matches and the Lanka Premier League in 2021, and Jayawickrama has until August 20 to respond.
One of the charges is under Article 2.4.4 for "failing to report to the ACU, without unnecessary delay, details of an approach he received to carry out fixing in future International Matches."
