Gary Neville has compared Jurgen Klopp’s recent celebrations to those of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Reds are six points adrift of City after their 4-1 win over Manchester United at the weekend, and do have a game in hand.

It is understood the player has not suffered any major injury setback and was instead kept inside as a precaution.
