The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the online registration process for the IBPS RRB Clerk and PO Recruitment 2026 from September 1. The recruitment drive is being conducted for 13,706 vacancies across Office Assistant and Officer posts.

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Posts Covered
The recruitment covers Group A Officer positions in Scale I, II and III, along with Group B Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. Candidates interested in banking opportunities through Regional Rural Banks can apply for the posts for which they meet the eligibility requirements.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details
A total of 13,706 vacancies have been announced across four categories. Office Assistant has the highest number of openings, followed by Officer Scale I.
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 8,183 vacancies
- Officer Scale I: 4,256 vacancies
- Officer Scale II: 1,047 vacancies
- Officer Scale III: 220 vacancies
- Total: 13,706 vacancies
Candidates can apply for both Office Assistant and an Officer post. However, applicants can select only one position within the Officer cadre.
This means a candidate can apply for either Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II or Officer Scale III, but cannot apply for more than one of these three Officer posts.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Application Fee
The application fee depends on the candidate's category. SC, ST and PwBD candidates are required to pay Rs 175 for applications to Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, II and III posts.
For candidates belonging to other categories, the application fee is Rs 850.
