IBM acquires Dallas tech firm Dialexa for digital product expertise

DALLAS — IBM will acquire Dallas software company Dialexa to spearhead the tech giant’s digital product engineering services presence in the Americas.

While IBM Consulting has made 13 acquisitions since April 2020, this is its first deal in the digital product engineering services market, which is estimated to reach $700 billion by 2026. Financial details weren’t disclosed for the transaction that’s expected to close in the last three months of the year.

“In this digital era, clients are looking for the right mix of high-quality products to build new revenue streams and improve topline growth,” said John Granger, senior vice president of IBM Consulting.
