Even though it's well off its lows, it's stil down 22%. We think this is an opportunity to get out at a better price vs. down over 30%. It looks like a broken stock now.

how much do you think TSLA was impacted by their exposure to china given tensions with U.S. and slap down China gave Musk telling him 'don't bite the hand that feeds you'	Good point; I would think Musk works very hard to maintain positive relations with China regulators. During conference calls, Musk has often praised the China team for how quickly it got Giga Shanghai built and up and running. It truly is a linchpin of the company's vehicle manufacturing strategy.
BURL Interesting EPS Gap Up. Back over 10-wk. Broke above a Trend Line. +3.37% Vol +967% Acc/Dis B- and U/D Vol 1.3 How will it finish today?	Good points, wish I mentioned it in the news. Def a challenge of support at the 50-day line as well.
There are many market indicators that an investor can look at. Which "forward looking indicators" do you watch.	Good Q. On our Tuesday episodes, David Ryan has made an important point in looking at these things: 1) a break of either an uptrend or downtrend in the Nasdaq, NYSE advance-decline lines; 2) divergence in an index or stock's price action and its overbought/oversold stochastic oscillator; and a feel for the action on intraday charts. From an IBD perspective, the follow-through day remains the most important forward looking indicator of an emerging uptrend. Every major market bottom since 1900 began with a FTD. And heavy distribution always presages a major market top, based on decades of research. OK so here's the problem with AEHR, and I mentioned this the other day when David Ryan was on. AEHR largest customer, by far, is ON Semi. And now TSLA says they will reduce their dependence on SiC chips which ON growth is dependent on.	live answered
AEHR - getting hit here as well - it doesn't matter how quickly TSLA moves away - growth stocks like this anticipate massive TAMs that are difficult to quantify - this news puts a limit in place that wasn't there before - and the outized valuation is trashed.	live answered

can we take a look at LNG?	Looks really interesting. Strong move on earnings and now tightening up right around 160. Would keep this one on watch
AEHR up about 17% off the low. That's a Dan Fitzpatrick trade, as I recall from past IBD visits, but it's not for me.	Maybe a day trade but I wouldn't hold it.
What's the problem sith silicon carbide? I understood that this was an important new technology. But Elon says...	Maybe Musk does not like the price of SiC chips?
Can you also look at MNST?	Moving up nicely today, but still below 50-day and has an accumulation/distribution rating of E which signals overwhelming net selling by institutions.
Dxcm please	Nice move today, presenting a potential entry. I'm concerned about resistance around 120 though
MTZ finally broke out higher yesterday, too risky here?	Nice upside reversal on earnings. Feels a touch extended here but it's less than 6% above the 10-week. Maybe it can have an orderly pullback to the 21-day line. Earnings have been rough but forward-looking estimates look good

Why move away for Si Carbide?	Perhaps Musk's move for cheaper materials -- lead, for instance -- is mirroring what's being done by its China rivals including BYD is a shock to investors. For sure, the media and Wall Street have sung the praises of efficiency w/ carbide chips. But it seems Musk is clearly steering away in the longer term. Question is, how will other big automakers move?

OLED extended for entry over the recent highs?	That outside day on aernings might have been a good entry. It's a little extended from ideal levels
TGLS gapped-up on earnings today....thoughts on it?	The stock was already extended heading into the report. A hold for those who own, or a chance to lock in some gains. Too extended to buy here per IBD's rules
I remember Matt Caruso two visits ago touting the fundamentals of OKTA. With today's move, it's above the AVWAP from the Feb 2nd high for only the 2nd time (closed above it for one day on 2-15). Today a good 5% above the VWAP line and that line has just turned higher (slope also important accd to Brian Mr. VWAP Shannon). Good earnings estimates, esp 2025. A small starter position to see if it holds the gap seems sensible for a bottoming base trade.	The technicals and fundamentals look great. I'm looking for a way back in.
AEHR and ACLS both down significantly today. LB stock UBER is about to get stopped out	This one has been tough in recent days, no doubt. Does IBD see money shifting from technology to commodity?	Well, we definitely saw that from Q4 2021 to end of 2022. Will it stick? Perhaps in some sectors of commodities -- for instance, with the UKR war showing no signs of ending soon, Europe has been scrambling to beef up its renewables and LNG capacity. Meanwhile, gold has lost its luster lately. Copper has rebounded nicely, up 6% since Jan 1 but at $4.07/lb it's still well below its 2022 peak of $5.03.
FCX—do you ignore the #'s?	With cyclical stocks the fundamentals will often not have the history. You are looking for the evidence of the turnaround in the cycle.
