Ianis Hagi targeted for Rangers transfer exit as Celta Vigo 'convinced' they can land Ibrox star for £3m

Ianis Hagi has emerged as a target for Celta Vigo, according to reports in Spain.

The Romanian international has returned to action after 13 months out injured following a serious knee injury last January, but has had to accept a bit-part role from the bench under manager Michael Beale since returning.

There's been speculation about the 24-year-old's Rangers future next season and he was at the centre of controversy last month when his famous father - former Real Madrid and Barcelona legend Gheorghe Hagi - had a public bust-up with Romanian boss Edi Iordanescu following his omission from the national squad. Now reports in Spain have suggested La Liga side Celta Vigo want Hagi for next season and believe they can get him for £3 million. PSG football advisor Luis Campos has an unusual position in that as well as the key role for the big-spending Ligue giants Paris Saint-Germain, he also works as an advisor for Vigo.

Portuguese talent spotter Campos is expected to leave PSG in a shake-up in the summer and channel his energies into Celta Vigo, who currently sit 12th in the Spanish top flight. And Hagi, who has also been linked with a move to Borussia Monchengladbach, could be the subject of an offer from La Liga.
