Ianis Hagi in all access Rangers injury update as star lets fans inside his fightback

Injury stricken Rangers star Ianis Hagi has shared inside footage of his rehab during his journey back to fitness.

The playmaker's absence was a big blow for the Ibrox side after an ACL injury in January meant he was forced to sit out the remainder of the campaign.

But the Romanian is pushing to get back fit for his side's pre-season.

Despite his recovery timetable remaining uncertain for now, Hagi has taken to social media to share some positive footage of his rehabilitation.

Gio van Bronckhorst regularly relied on the player, despite often playing him slightly out of position on the right wing.

Hagi scored against Aberdeen in the first game back, but saw his season ended prematurely after suffering the injury during Rangers' Scottish Cup clash against Stirling Albion.

It meant the 23-year-old had to watch from afar as the Light Blues battled their way to Seville and won the Scottish Cup.

But the forward is now documenting his return to action after travelling to Amsterdam to undergo rehab back in April.

The behind the scenes footage is part of a three part documentary detailing Hagi's fitness journey, with the first clip showing just how emotional the progress is proving to be.

Alongside the fitness journey, the footage also showed the player's reaction to his side's Scottish Cup semi final triumph over Celtic.

The clip captures Hagi's pure delight a he witnessed his team-mates get the job done.
