Ianis Hagi clarifies Rangers exit stance & declares he's ready to 'fight' for Clement

Ianis Hagi has expressed his desire to remain at Rangers despite being frozen out by the club.

The 25-year-old featured in all four of Romania's Euro 2024 fixtures this summer, yet the playmaker hasn't been involved among Philippe Clement's Ibrox plans.

Although, he believes a resolution is still possible after rejecting the opportunity to return to his homeland with Rapid Bucharest.

Hagi has been on Rangers' books since 2020 but spent last season out on-loan at Deportivo Alaves in Spain.

Taking to Instagram, Hagi addressed the ongoing issue and said: "I've been aware of the noise and speculation regarding my situation, my role and my contract in the club.

"I have loved playing for Rangers and the Ibrox fans since the moment I got here. I want to make it clear, I have never once asked to leave this football club. I will always make myself available, and there's always a way to navigate around any situation if there's a will on both sides and that was communicated officially weeks ago by me and my team.

"I'm here, willing, and Rangers Ready to help, work and fight for the club, team and manager."
