Ian Wright has claimed that Manchester United should start with Alejandro Garnacho instead of Antony following the Brazilian's performance against Arsenal at the weekend.
The former Ajax man has struggled in recent weeks despite finding the back of the net against Everton and Charlton Athletic in the FA and Carabao Cups respectively. In Sunday's big clash with Arsenal, Antony struggled to keep up with the pace of the game.
After being booked in the 47th minute, the winger was eventually substituted by Fred with 20 minutes remaining. Discussing Sunday's clash on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, the former Arsenal striker claimed that United youngster Garnacho should be starting ahead of the £82m man.

He explained: "I would have gone with Garnacho [vs Arsenal]. I would have gone with him because I’m yet to see it from Antony.
"I know he scored on his debut against us [Arsenal], but I’m not seeing enough at the moment to think he’s going to be the one. I would have thought Garnacho would start because he’s very good one v one, he can take people on, he’s very good in that situation.
"So I thought he would get a game." It would appear that Antony himself is aware that performances in recent matches have not been up to the required standard.
Taking to Twitter, the 22-year-old posted: "Important week for us. Seeking to evolve to give my best to the team.
"It has always been a dream to be here and I will give all I have to honour this club cause we are stronger together." Next up for the Reds is a trip to Nottingham Forest for the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.
