Ian Wright admits he was surprised Jesse Marsch ommitted any praise for Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier following the win at Anfield. The French goalkeeper pulled off a number of important saves to keep the Whites in the game.
His display would play a big part in the win with Leeds United grabbing a late winner through Crysencio Summerville. The result lifted Leeds out of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the table.
Wright told Match of The Day: "I'm very surprised that Jesse Marsch, with all his animation, didn't mention him once. I think Nunez has got to do better there and lift it over him, but he's made good saves and the kind of saves that he should make.

"I think that some of the finishing has been pretty poor as well, so I don't want to take anything away from him because when you look at some of the finishing, you think it could be more clinical.
"That is a good save but it's a save he should be making. Once they do get through he's got good angles, uses his feet and it's a good save.
"It's one of those situations where you go to a place live Liverpool and if you don't get it right, if your goalkeeper isn't on it like he was today, you probably get beat and let in three or four. He was very good today."
